Currently completing the final year of her Sport and Exercise Science degree. Aleyna has acquired skills from various workplaces ranging from retail to office assistance. She is passionate about keeping fit, mentally and physically. Aleyna has played elite football in the NSW Women’s State League for a number of years and her love for soccer has guided her into the role of assistant coaching an all girls soccer team. Aleyna enjoys the children’s energy and enthusiasm at Growing Minds and hopes to contribute to their overall development and wellbeing.

Alison has her Certificate 3 in Children’s services. Alison volunteers as a Girl Guides leader for girls aged 7-10 years. At Guides, Alison helps girls to develop life skills, confidence, respect for the environment and sense of community. She has bought those passions & skills into Growing Minds and is proud to be sharing what she has learnt. Alison also has a passion for art and craft. She believes that every child should get the opportunity to express themselves in the arts and crafts/sports and learns to respect our environment.

Currently in her 3rd year of studying Bachelor of Education (primary) at Australian Catholic University. Belmina has always had a passion for working with kids and becoming a teacher has always been a major goal of hers. She has previously worked at Subway & Kmart. These jobs have assisted her significantly with refining her ability to communicate with and get along with others.

Johanna is currently a student studying The Masters of Primary Teaching at University of Western Sydney and is passionate about educating and learning with the children. Music and Art are Johanna’s hobbies, she loves playing instruments and seeing the children use their creativity in art. Johanna enjoys seeing children grow and learn new things.

Qualified in Marketing and HR, Peter began his career early on in Total Apparel Management, coordinating uniform programs for Woolworths Ltd, NSW Police and NSW Health. Having a passion in Martial arts, he later became a Tactical Defence Trainer for the State Transit Authority and instructed lessons for school aged children at his local dojo. Peter is a driving force behind The GM Martial Arts Program and believes every child should learn to defend themselves.

Ramy is an experienced teacher, head teacher and curriculum adviser for the Department of Education over the past ten years. Ramy has created literacy and numeracy programs in primary and high school settings and has led professional development in a number of school environments. His passion lies in education, he believes that every child is unique and it is our role to harness their interests and passions.

Ritu has been associated with children and their learning & development for 5 years. She started as an educator in the childcare industry. Having two children of her own, she experienced the joys of motherhood and brings that experience & passion to her day to day running of Growing Minds. She is proud to be a part of the GM Team and it has strengthened her commitment to the local community and industry sector.

Studying Primary Teaching at the Australian Catholic University, Sara has a special interest for children and their education. Throughout her University course, Sara has completed her professional experience where she has taught in different primary schools as a Pre-Service Teacher. Sara has brought her passion and experience to Growing Minds where she further develops her expertise and practically embeds all her university theory in the year 2 room she manages.

Senayon loves working at Growing Minds and has a wonderful burst of energy! She is currently a 3rd year student studying Bachelor of Primary School Education. Senayon loves teaching children because they are the future leaders of the world and it is important for students to understand how they’re valued as unique individuals. Senayon says ‘As a teacher I get to boost children’s confidence and assist them in the journey of finding out who they are and what they’re capable of’.

Sithy has a Certificate 3 in Childcare and began a career as a childcare worker before transitioning into a centre cook. She has continued this career path for 5 years. Sithy takes delight in trying new recipes from around the world for her family and friends and daily exercise. She loves seeing the vibrant smiles on children’s faces when they enjoy her food.

Taran has a diploma in information technology and is currently studying primary education at Australian Catholic University. He is passionate about physical health, soccer and photography. Taran says ‘A fun fact about me is I have had a photograph displayed in an art gallery’ He brings his university knowledge to the day to day operations of Growing Minds.
