Welcome to the Growing Minds family.

If you’re looking for the support your child needs to be happy, healthy and successful, you’ve come to the right place.

Designed by a group of leading Australian educators, Growing Minds is a multi-disciplinary before school, after school and vacation care organisation that engages children’s minds and bodies alike. Growing Minds is about helping your children reach their full potential in an engaging, enjoyable environment. With a curriculum modelled on current best practices, we offer three core streams:

Education · Empowerment · Sports

Growing Minds is suitable for children from Kindergarten through Year 6. If you’re already enrolled with another provider, that’s not a problem – enrolment with Growing Minds requires a minimum of just two placements a week.

Before School Care

Before school care commences at 7am. We offer your children a perfect start to the day with quiet activities and breakfast.  Our school drop off service ensures they’re at school in good time for first bell.

After School Care

After school care commences at 3.00pm and runs until 6.30pm. We offer a school pick up service, and a range of activities. Services include tutoring, social skills development and sports training.

Vacation Care

Everyone finds excursions exciting! Enrich your children’s lives through our vacation program, which encourages children to be involved in a wide variety of activities including art, craft, cooking, sport, dance and drama.

Education Slider

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
– Nelson Mandela

With over 30 years’ combined experience, our teachers possess a rich understanding of the primary education curriculum, and have created a program that caters to the individual student. Each term, a review is conducted and a progress report is submitted to each family for review. Reports detail the learning outcomes for your child.
If your child requires further support, we offer the GM One-to-One Tutoring Program and Small Group Tutoring Program. Both options provide a convenient way for your child to receive coaching, while still having the afternoon to spend with their family and friends at home.
Do you have a gifted child? We cater to gifted and talented children with extra activities upon parent request. Too often, gifted children fall short of their potential because of frustration or boredom – they quickly grasp material that is challenging for other students, and tire of it before their class is ready to move on.
By offering these children material that is broader in scope and deeper in context, core lessons are reinforced with extra detail, and a natural love of learning is awakened through more appropriate levels of stimulation and challenge.

Empowerment Slider

Never be limited by other people’s limited imaginations.
– Dr. Mae Jemison

As adults, we know that hindsight is a wonderful thing. If only we’d realised things sooner! If only we’d learned more about ourselves and others when we were younger! Growing Minds will empower your children by teaching them principles and concepts to help them get a grasp on those important life lessons sooner.
A range of specific schedules have been developed by experts to engage children in their passions, while also educating them on the fundamentals of goal setting, dealing with bullies, leadership, healthy eating and good hygiene. Your children will emerge more capable, more confident, and more themselves than ever.

Sports Slider

The five S’s of sports training are: stamina, speed, strength, skill and spirit; but the greatest of these is spirit.
– Ken Doherty

Active children are more likely to mature into physically active adults, but according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, only six out of ten children aged between 5 and 14 years participates in sport outside of school. From the healthy growth of bones, tendons and ligatures to better sleep and preventing obesity, there’s a million and one good reasons to get involved in sport. But most importantly: getting moving is fun!
At Growing Minds, we’re firm believers that wellness is achieved through mind and body working together. We have a structured curriculum for Dance, Soccer and Martial Arts, with each Growing Minds location offering choices based on local demand. While we focus on sportsmanship and safety over winning, we also recognise your children’s achievements with certificates at each stage of personal development.
